About Oleg
Oleg Naumenko is the craftsman behind Woodman Studio and a Ukrainian Paralympic fencer.
Oleg began working with leather in 2016. Since then he has been developing his own models of bags, wallets, card holders and cases.
He designs each model, dyes and shapes the vegetable-tanned leather himself, and does practically all the work by hand, without machinery at almost any stage.
In parallel, he offers digital PDF patterns in his Etsy shop. This is a separate digital-file offering, to be distinguished from the finished leather goods presented on this site.

Oleg is working on a new line of bags inspired by stained glass and historical and Gothic symbols that he photographs while walking around Paris and Barcelona, and that he wants to transfer to leather. This line is still in development.
Wheelchair fencing
Alongside his work with leather, Oleg represents Ukraine in wheelchair fencing. At the Rio 2016 Paralympic Games he won a bronze medal in individual épée, category B, and he also competed at Tokyo 2020 (held in 2021) and Paris 2024. His achievements include the team épée world title in Iksan 2025 and the mixed team épée European title in Cardiff 2026.
